DEBT RELIEF
I have taught year 13 this week about Debt Relief.
1. WIKIPEDIA has a very good introduction.
2. Make Poverty History has agood little section on Drop the Debt.
3. Good information is available on HiPC's (Heavily Indebted Poor Countries) on the DFID site .
4. CAFOD gives details of some of the recipient schemes.
5. The role of G8 is covered on this BBC news item.
6. BBC news item on Tazania's $3bn debt relief.
7. Tanzania used the money for its Primary Education Plan.

These sites contain excellent data on the UK.

- Office of National Statistics use the headings UK Snapshot, Neighbourhoods, Economy and census.
Nation Master
This is an excellent site that allows you compare countries graphically. Wealth of data that uses several databases.
